International conference on how design make winner brands

We invite business leaders and designers to join us on the 29th of March at a conference focusing on how design methods and storytelling can build strong brands. How to Design Future Winner Brands is hosted by Design denmark and Dansk Erhverv (Confederation of Danish Enterprise) and we are proud to say that Nikolaj Stagis, Director of Strategy here at Stagis, is the keynote speaker. And he is in good company as the programme is packed with some of the brightest minds from the branding industry.

Adjusting to a new playing field

The basic conditions for today’s companies have changed radically in a liquid world where images, symbols, tags and logos come and go rapidly and where the designer’s tools in principle have become available to all.

Businesses today rely heavily on the relationships they build with customers and users; on social media and open platforms we share, recommend and engage in a dialogue with companies and brands. Companies are driven by an overriding need to know the user data, track and investigate how the outside world perceives them. In other words, they want to know how we experience their product and brand and if we have confidence in their business.

Nikolaj Stagis gives keynote speech on business purpose as a foundation for design

At the conference, Nikolaj will share his views on the fundamentals of great brand design and point to the essential questions that every brand executive and every brand designer has to ask. Great brand design reflects the inherent strengths and the purpose of the business. Brands used to be about products and the makers behind them. But today brands are also conveyors of meaning and purpose from companies and a the fans they aspire to engage.

Experience some of the heavyweight thinkers of brand design

The conference speakers approach the art of designing a winner brand from widely different angles and walks you through important steps in strategy and business development and reflects on the process of developing both the visual and audio expression of a brand. Among the speakers are Christian Bason, Chief Executive of the Danish Design Centre. He will talk about the potential of using design methods and -thinking in today’s businesses, while Michael Boumendil, President and Chief Creative Officer, Sixieme Son, will talk about successfully expressing a brand’s identity through music.
